This past week I met up with Mira and Joe! They came into town from Ohio for a little wedding planning for their destination wedding in Savannah and their Engagement shoot in Atlanta. We are always super honored when couples travel to meet and shoot with us. We had such a great time shooting around Centennial Olympic Park in downtown Atlanta. Here are Amanda and Walter; they have such a sweet love story. They got married in 2009 just before Walter ( a West Point grad, and a chinook helicopter pilot for the Army) was deployed to Afghanistan, it was a small yet beautiful ceremony in Savannah, Ga. Walter had promised her that he would give Mandie her dream wedding when her returned & it was nothing short. We felt so honored to be apart of their vow renew on their 2nd anniversary of their wedding. It was perfect. Mandie looked just like a Disney princess. Mandie and Walter are such an amazing example of love. Here is a sneak peek into their day. Mandie (a photographer herself) was SO easy to photograph! 
We were SO inspired all day!! 
We met the bridal party at B Street Salon, and then headed over to Colombia Square to have their first look and to snap some portraits. Their Ceremony was held at the Haaf Chapel on Hunter Army Airfield and Savannah Quarter Country Club was their reception venue. Grab some popcorn and a drink b.c this is a long one! Enjoy!!

Meet Majenta, I photographed her for a vintage bridal dress shoot, showcasing Headpieces custom made by Denae & a vintage 1970′s wedding dress. I am just in LOVE with this dress! We had a great shoot, and Majenta made my job SO easy, it was unbelievable.I loved photographing her and look forward to shooting her in the future. Recently we photographed Nicole & Alan’s wedding day at Wahoo! Grill in Decatur. Their day was organically beautiful and I was thankful to be a part of it I really loved the floral bouquet and boutonniere created by Candler Park Florist. In August we were a part of a bridal show just outside of Savannah in Richmond Hill, Ga. Denae was at the table next to ours and she makes these beautiful bridal headpieces. I am honored to photograph them for her! She sent me these and here are a few quick shots of them! I am hoping to use them in an upcoming bridal session to show on a bride! 1) This is a simply classic blusher veil. The one is my personal favorite!
2) This piece is on an elegant silver bobby pin. The rhinestone detail in the middle the perfect adds the perfect amount of sparkle.
3) This headband compliments any hair style. The accent of pearls gives it a very classy feel.
4) I love this clip. It is so fun yet classic. The feathers mixed with the pearl is a great combination to add the extra detail.

I spent this evening doing a very special maternity shoot with Courtney & Josh. Courtney has been a friend of my families since I was in 8th grade! Her and her husband Josh are expecting their first baby (It’s a girl!!!) in November. I am SUPER happy for them and you can tell are going to be amazing awesome parents! We laughed our way though the entire shoot! Here are a few of the images from this evenings session, I am pretty excited about the rest too !
Not too long ago we down were in Savannah, Georiga out at Skidaway Island photographing Kourtney & Ron. They are awaiting the arrival of their baby girl to their beautiful family in October.
